Celebrating the Dangerholm 2022 Scott Spark RC "Hypersonic" release this limited edition Kolossos pays tribute to Kogel's favorite custom bike builder.
Limited to just 30 pieces worldwide, it is configured with a unique color scheme and only available online for a limited time.
The Dangerholm Kolossos is available in Sram Eagle or XTR/ XT 12-speed versions and features a raw aluminum cage, raw pulley covers & stop pin with rose-colored bolts and a special one-off Champagne Pink Cerakote coating on the pulley wheels.
Enjoy the super-smooth, accurate shifting with less friction and chain drag on your rear derailleur in a color scheme that matches your riding style!
Fitment
The Limited Edition Dangerholm Kolossos can be had in two versions:
1. Sram Eagle AXS and mechanical versions of XX1 Eagle, X01 Eagle and GX Eagle rear derailleurs. The product does not fit non-Eagle (i.e. 11-speed) rear derailleurs.
2. Shimano XTR and XT 12-speed rear derailleurs only and is not compatible with 10 or 11-speed derailleurs.

In Greek mythology, the word Kolossos stands for a statue that is many times larger than the original. If you take a look at Kogel's oversized rear derailleur cage, the name seems very appropriate.
In addition to reduced friction, the focus during development was on perfect shifting precision and system rigidity. The cage fits SRAM 12-speed shifting systems from GX Eagle to XX1 Eagle. Despite its enormous size and the approx. twice as high rigidity compared to the original, the system only weighs around 11g more. The noble part is limited to 20 pieces - so get hold of it quickly!
Bigger IS Better
Oversized derailleur wheels are currently the method of choice to save even the last bit of unnecessary friction. The rollers cause less deflection and the associated less movement within the chain links and you turn much more slowly. These two factors ensure less friction within your drive and more efficient power transmission.
Colossal performance
Kogel's goal was a cage that, despite its enormous dimensions, is at least as stiff and stable as the one originally installed by the manufacturer. The shifting performance is therefore perfect in every situation and the chain is held securely where it belongs.
